Location Information
Localité may collect precise location information during active sharing sessions. Location sharing is controlled by the user and is based on selected groups, friends, activities, and session settings. Users can stop sharing by ending a session or changing device permissions.
How We Use Information
We use information to operate the app, enable location-based discovery, support friend and group coordination, improve safety, send notifications, maintain security, and improve the user experience.
Sharing Information
Information may be shared with other users according to your visibility settings. We may also use service providers for hosting, authentication, notifications, analytics, and app infrastructure.
Data Retention
We retain information as needed to provide the service, maintain accounts, comply with legal obligations, and improve app functionality. Some session and location data may be deleted or anonymized when no longer needed.
User Controls
Users can update profile information, manage visibility settings, disable location permissions, disable notifications, or request account deletion.
Children’s Privacy
Localité is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
